I am kind of seeing this new girl. We hang out constantly, hook up. The only thing is that around our other friends we don’t act like anything more than friends. This is even though our other friends know we are hooking up/hanging out. I am definitely into her and want a relationship at some point, but I just get mixed signals. She was one of my very good friends before we started to like each other or whatever, I know she is into me, but we act like nothing is going on in front of people. I am 21 years old, in college, if that helps. Thoughts?

Talk to her.

Ask her what she wants out of your relationship and then tell her what you want out of it. If she wants nothing more than this casual fling and you desire more well it’s up to you what to do next, but most likely she’s just waiting for you to make some sort of move or talk to explain what you two are.

Talk to her, maybe she doesn’t like public displays of affection, or perhaps she has other reasons. Ask her "What are we? Are we dating, exclusive, are we just an option for each other until someone better comes along?"
