I am 22yrs old. I just bought a townhome in south florida. I own a 6 month old sports car plus a clean daily driver. I invest in stocks/ my IRA. I have been working at the same place for 4 years now doing what I love and succeeding, yet I still feel in adequate. I am proud of myself yet at the same time have a feeling of inadequacy. Sucks…

Yeah its all material shit and material shit is just that, its shit. Get over it, society tells you you need all that shit, you dont.

what type of inadequacy? your house isn’t good enough, car not good enough?
I read a newspaper article once talking about happiness. It said that people with alot of wealth are among the least happy in society. Where as people with enough money to live comfortably, yet who spend time working on relationships with friends and family are the most happy. Work hard enough to live comfortably yet don’t disregard your relationships with friends and family.

Money doesn’t buy happiness, the relationships you develop will lead you to happiness and in turn feelings of adequacy.
You are looking for external validation, you need to seek out internal validation. Just because you can make money, doesn’t mean you will be happy. When you wake up in the morning, realize, that I am the best at what I do because I am me. This is the slowest process in life to go through. Changing from internal to external validation, but once it happens, you will be set. Good luck man.
